Keep in mind that even though you're running XP on Windows 7 you're still running XP, and XP goes EOL in early April. I did a quick search and found this Opens a new window (pdf) it looks as if the drivers aren't specifically required if you use VersaWorks, I don't know if you use this application, but if you do that's another "out" so to speak. Its a Roland SP 300 wide format printer that interfaces to USB 2 My suggestion, if you can't get it working in XP mode, is to use virtualbox. ![]() However, i don't know the specifics of VPC and how it handles hardware. Is that correct? I need to get my LF printer working using my new 660s. I know I need to activate "hardware assisted virtualization" in the 660s bios. Will Virtual PC accept older drivers made for XP? For example, I have a large format printer that no longer has drivers of Windows 7. ![]()
